Our brand new Mid Suite is in the main house on the second floor looking out over Lang Bay and the Malaspina Strait on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. Relax on the deck and enjoy the solitude of the bay.
This comfortable suite sleeps 4, one bedroom with a queen bed and a double bed pull out sofa. There is a full size kitchen with brand new appliances including a dishwasher. Pots, pans, coffee, tea and condiments are supplied. There is a full size washer, dryer and BBQ as well. There are books, games, puzzles, TV and information on Powell River and area. WiFi is available.
You need only bring your clothes and food. Everything else is provided.
The Suite has a private entrance and a deck overlooking Lang Bay. The deck is covered so you are protected from the sun and the rain while you relax or BBQ.
Interaction with Guests
After the initial contact, we are available at any time to answer any questions and help in any way but give you your own space.
We live on the top floor of the main house. The Mid Suite, directly below, is the only rental so you will have a quiet space and deck all to yourselves.

This is a nonsmoking suite. We do not accommodate pets. We are in a septic system so caution must be observed as to what goes into the system.
The Neighbourhood
We live in a very quiet area where you will wake up to the birds chirping to welcome the new day. The beach is a moments walk away where you will find sea shells and star fish clinging to the rocks at low tide. Sit on your deck and watch the salmon swim up the creek to the spawning channel and observe the blue herons, ducks, geese and many other birds as they float over and swim in the bay. The fall is a great time to fish for various kinds of salmon as they make their way up the creek.
Location
We are 12 km south of Powell River and 15 km north of the Saltery Bay ferry terminal. You can also fly into Powell River on Coastal Air and rent a car at the airport.
There is a golf course 10 minutes away and the town of Powell River is 20 minutes away. There are 3 major grocery stores as well as a major department store and many specialty shops and local businesses.
There are many fresh water lakes as well as hiking and biking trails. Scuba diving and chartered fishing trips in the area. There are many local artists in the area too. The bay and shoreline are great places to explore by canoe or kayak. The beach has easy access for launching a canoe or kayak.
